Home Depot Foundation Invests in Housing for Veterans

Over 3400 Veterans to Receive Assistance

Home Depot Foundation Donates $9 Million

The Home Depot Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the world's largest home improvement retailer, has announced a significant investment of $9 million to provide housing for more than 3400 veterans battling homelessness.

This generous donation will support a variety of organizations working tirelessly to address the housing crisis among veterans. The funds will be used to construct or renovate homes, provide rental assistance, and offer supportive services, such as counseling and employment training.

The Home Depot Foundation has a long-standing commitment to supporting veterans and their families. Since 2011, the Foundation has invested over $500 million in veteran housing initiatives, helping to provide homes for more than 20,000 veterans.

"We are deeply committed to helping veterans who have served our country and are now facing homelessness," said Shannon Gerber, Executive Director of the Home Depot Foundation. "This investment will provide critical support to organizations that are making a real difference in the lives of veterans."

The Home Depot Foundation's investment will have a significant impact on the lives of veterans who have served their country honorably. These funds will help to ensure that these veterans have access to safe and affordable housing, as well as the support they need to thrive.
